There are two options: Either the mother was raped by a Ravena or she had a Ravena lover (which is less likely. Even if she did love someone before Lucio, why a Ravena of all creatures?). Remember also that having wings is not a prerequisite to be a child of a winged creature. This was a hint from Savana. And since Alwina is part human, it would be logical that her Ravena counterpart would be part human. But Gabriel could be the last great weapon of the Ravena, or their biggest stumbling block.
